FOUND: Postcards in San Angelo

I found these postcards tucked under a bench along the Concho Riverwalk by the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts around 5:45 p.m. on Sunday. They’re a small bundle with a few letters peeking out, one addressed in careful cursive to someone in Texas decades ago. I cleaned the dust off the backs and imagined the sender’s voice as if they might still be missing these memories. I’m keeping them safe and posting here in hopes the rightful owner will recognize them.

Found airline ticket near San Angelo airport

I found an airline ticket on the curb outside the San Angelo Regional Airport at about 9:15 this morning. It fluttered near the curb by the terminal entrance, a bright blue luggage tag catching the sun and a few torn receipts tucked under it. I can’t imagine how stressed the owner must be, chasing a flight and realizing something important was left behind. I tucked it into my bag for safekeeping and hope the rightful traveler sees this listing soon.

Found: plastic organizers

I was walking out of Sunset Mall in San Angelo around 3:45 PM on a Saturday when I spotted a small stack of blue and clear plastic organizers sitting near the customer service desk. They looked recently left behind, still warm from the afternoon crowd. I checked for a name tag or store tag but found nothing. It struck me how easy it is to misplace something so simple, and I knew the relief of reclaiming it would mean a lot to the owner. I kept them safe and dropped them off at the front desk, hoping the finder would see this post.

Red harmonica with star sticker found near River Walk

I found a red harmonica with a tiny blue star sticker on the top cover this afternoon around 3:15pm. It was sitting on a bench near the Concho River, by the Market Street Bridge behind the River Walk in San Angelo. It's a Hohner Special 20, red lacquered cover with a few scrapes on the corners and a worn plastic comb. The soft black zipper case has a pink strap, and inside there was a handwritten note on a scrap of receipt that says 'Maya'—not sure if that's the owner, but I hope it helps. If this belongs to you, I’d love to get it back to you and hear the story behind the melody you were practicing.

Black leather briefcase with brass hardware

I found a black leather briefcase this morning around 11:15am outside the Cactus Hotel on Twohig Ave in downtown San Angelo. The case is about 16 inches wide and 11 inches tall, with sturdy brass hardware and a small scuff on the bottom corner. A brass name plate on the front is engraved with 'ALH,' and inside there's a red USB drive labeled 'Confidential' tucked in a folder. It looks like it contains some professional documents, so I’m hoping to reunite it with its owner.

Found dog: medium beagle mix with red collar

I found a medium-sized beagle mix this afternoon around 3:10pm near the Concho River Walk by Fort Concho in San Angelo. The coat is tri-color—tan, black, and white—with a white blaze on the chest and a slightly crooked right ear. It’s wearing a bright red collar with a small silver bell, and there’s a blue enamel bone-shaped tag with the number 555-0123. The dog is friendly and wagging, sniffing everything, but calm after I offered water. I’ve kept it safe at the river park area near the parking lot off S. Concho Street until I can reunite it with its owner. If this is your dog, describe the collar tag or the approximate name and we can arrange a meetup. It seems well cared for, and I’d love to get it back to its family.
