Found clutch near Salina Oakdale Park
This morning at 9:10 a.m., I found a tan leather clutch resting on a bench by the Oakdale Park fountain on Santa Fe Avenue. Inside there was a compact mirror and a lipstick case, plus a few receipts. It looked recently dropped, and I could tell someone would be distressed to lose it. I hope by posting here the rightful owner will recognize it and come forward.
LOST work cases near downtown Salina
I left my two black leather work cases on a bench near the Rolling Hills Zoo entrance in Salina around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday. I ducked into the gift shop and, when I came back, the bench was empty and the cases were gone. Those cases hold important documents for a new project, plus a laptop sleeve, and I’m really anxious about losing them. It's a medium-sized bag, about 14x16 inches, with a faded little star patch on the front and a bright red lining that peeks out when the zipper is open. The bag is worn but sturdy, with a small coffee stain on the bottom corner and a frayed edge along the strap. Inside I keep a notebook, a reusable water bottle, and a folded painting from my kid; it was a gift from her, so it has sentimental value. If anyone found it, I'd really appreciate getting it back.
