lost photographs from a weekend trip
I was at the Roanoke City Market around 2:15 p.m. Saturday, juggling a stack of photos, when a gust grabbed the edge of my tote and they slipped away. The market's brick arches were warm in the sun, and the view down Market Street felt like a postcard. These pictures mean the world to me because they capture my grandmother's road trips along the Blue Ridge and a laughing portrait of my dad as a kid. I’ve retraced steps from the Market Plaza to Campbell Avenue, but I haven’t found them yet. If you came across a bundle of faded prints on your way to the roped-off statue of the Mill Mountain Star, I’d be grateful to have them back.

I found an iPad Pro 11-inch (Space Gray) this morning around 9:15am in the parking lot behind the Roanoke Public Library on Jefferson Street. It's in a green folio case with a white floral pattern, and the screen still shows the Home screen with a few personal photos visible. The back has a small dent on the corner, and there’s a sticker that says 'Sophie' on the case. I grabbed it figuring someone must be looking for it, and I’d love to get it back to its owner.
