Lost terrariums near Roger Williams Park, Providence
I was wandering around the Providence side of Roger Williams Park this afternoon around 3:45 pm when I realized my terrariums were missing from the tote I’d been using for a plant swap. The two glass domes held tiny moss, a few succulents, and a little woodland scene—my pride after weeks of tending them. I must have set the tote down on a bench near the park’s edge and walked away as the light faded. I’m heartsick about losing such delicate pieces and would be endlessly grateful for their return to the plant circle downtown.
Found Canines near Waterplace Park, Providence
Tonight around 6:15 PM, I found two dogs wandering along the walkway near Waterplace Park in Providence. They looked well cared for: a larger tan lab mix wearing a light blue collar and a smaller wiry terrier with a red collar. They seemed not to be injured and were happy to have a human touch, so I kept them close and checked the surroundings for a tag. I brought the pair to a local shelter and waited with them, hoping the owner would see this post.

Yesterday around 6pm I lost my orange tabby cat near the East Side Market on Thayer Street in Providence, Rhode Island. He’s a medium-sized guy with a white chest and white paws, and he wears a green collar with a tiny silver bell; there’s a small notch in his right ear that helps him stand out. He’s microchipped, and I’ve had him since last year, so he’s really part of the family. I found a small green parakeet this morning around 7:45am near the Rhode Island State House on Smith Street in Providence. It has a bright blue tail, a yellow beak, and a tiny red ring on its right leg with '24' engraved. It seemed pretty tame and hopped onto a lamppost for a moment before I approached, then perched on my finger for a few seconds. It doesn't wear a collar, and it chirped when I offered a little seed. I lost my gray cockatiel yesterday around 3pm near the Providence Public Library on Empire Street, in Rhode Island. He's palm-sized and tame, with a bright yellow crest and orange cheek patches, and he wears a blue plastic leg band with the numbers 4822. One tail feather sticks up a bit, which helps me spot him if he's in a tree or on a fence. This bird is named Sunny and has sentimental value—it was a gift from my sister, and I really need him back.
