Found parrots near Wingfield Park, Reno
I was walking along the Truckee River near Wingfield Park around 6:45 p.m. when I spotted two parrots perched on a lamppost, chirping and looking around as if they were checking out the crowd. They were bright green with blue-tinged tails and lively yellow beaks; one stretched a wing as a car passed by, then settled back for a moment of quiet. I kept a safe distance and guided them to a grassy patch away from traffic, hoping they'd feel safe. They seemed well cared for, not feral, and I wanted to help reunite them with their owner.
Found rabbits near Reno Arch.
I found two rabbits this morning around 8:45 a.m. near the Reno Arch on North Center Street, along the Truckee River. They looked healthy but a bit rattled, so I kept them out of traffic and gave them some greens I had in my car while I checked the area. Gray tabby cat with green collar, missing near UNR
Hey, I lost my gray tabby Willow yesterday around 3pm. She's medium-sized (about 9 pounds) with short gray fur, white chest and paws, and a tiny notch on her right ear. She wears a bright green collar with a small silver bell and a tiny blue tag, and she’s microchipped. I last saw her near the UNR campus by Lawlor Events Center on North Virginia Street. This cat means a lot to me—she was a gift from my sister and helps me through rough days, so if you've seen her please email me at [email protected].

While hiking around Lake Tahoe yesterday, I came across a bright green tree frog sitting on a rock by the water's edge. It looks healthy but a little lost, and I couldn't find anyone around who might be looking for it. If anyone has lost a frog in the Reno / Tahoe area, please get in touch!

I found a grey, nylon dog leash lying on a trail around Lake Tahoe on Sunday afternoon. It looks brand new and has a padded handle for comfort. I believe it might belong to someone vacationing in the area, as I saw a few other pet owners walking their dogs nearby. Please reach out if this is yours!
