Found drapes near Reading Public Library
Today around 2:15 p.m., I found a bundle of drapes behind a stack of crates in an alley off Court Street near the Reading Public Library. They’re heavy, a deep burgundy with a subtle damask pattern, and the lining shows a pale gold. I checked for a note, but nothing attached gave me a name, so I figured they must belong to someone who lost them during a move. I’m glad to help, and I left them safe for the owner to claim here.
Found: Toasters near Santander Arena, Reading
On Saturday around 3:20 PM, I found a pair of toasters sitting on a bench outside the Santander Arena at 700 Penn Street in Reading. They’re white with a light crumb crust along the slots and a frayed orange power cord wrap. It looked like someone might have dashed off after a game or concert, so I picked them up with a sense of responsibility and wiped away the crumbs. I’m posting this hoping the rightful owner will see it and recognize their kitchen companions.
Blue ceramic mug with sunflowers and chipped rim
Found this blue ceramic mug with a bright sunflower pattern this afternoon around 2:15pm outside Reading Station on London Road. It's a sturdy 350ml mug with a chipped rim and a small dent in the handle. The bottom has a faint sticker with 'M. Patel' and a coffee ring on the inside. It looks well-loved and I'm sure it means a lot to its owner; I’d love to help reunite it with them.
Yellow DeWalt 20V drill, cracked battery
I lost my yellow DeWalt 20V cordless drill yesterday around 3pm outside Waterstones on Broad Street, Reading. It was in a black impact case with a red foam insert, and the charger is white with a small dent. The drill has a cracked battery pack that makes it feel a bit loose when the battery clicks in, and there's a tiny sticker with my initials 'RP' on the handle. This tool is my weekend helper and it was a gift from my grandfather, so I really need it back if anyone finds it.
Found black and silver DeWalt portable power drill in the parking lot near Reading Farmers Market.
I found a black and silver DeWalt portable power drill in the parking lot near the Reading Farmers Market. It looks like it has been left behind by someone who just finished a project. It doesn’t have any visible signs of wear, just a bit of dirt on it from the ground. If this sounds like something you lost, please reach out to me so we can arrange getting it back to you!
Found soft beige armchair near River Walk park in Reading, PA.
I found a soft beige armchair abandoned near the park by River Walk in Reading. It looks like a well-loved piece, with some wear on the arms, but it's still comfortable and quite stylish. I thought it might belong to someone nearby, so I took it home, hoping the owner will see this and reclaim it soon.
Lost blue silicone spatula with wooden handle left in a friend's kitchen in Reading.
I lost my favorite blue silicone spatula while baking at a friend’s house in Reading last week. I believe I accidentally left it in her kitchen. It has a wooden handle and is super flexible, making it great for flipping pancakes. If anyone finds it, I would really appreciate getting it back!
