FOUND: Tank Accessories near Riverfront Park

I was walking along the Mississippi Riverfront near the Centennial Bridge in Davenport, in the Quad Cities, around 6:15 p.m. last Friday when I spotted a small bag labeled Tank Accessories tucked under a bench. Opening it revealed hoses, fittings, and a compact toolkit—clearly not mine. I asked a couple of passersby, but no one claimed it, so I brought it to this site. It’s tough to think this could get misplaced again, and I hope the owner recognizes it soon.

Found: Holiday decorations in Quad Cities

I found a box of holiday decorations sitting on a doorstep on Main Street in Davenport around 2:15 PM today. It looked like a jumble of ornaments, garland, and a small lantern, all wrapped in tissue. It wasn't mine, and I can tell they'd belong to someone who loves the season as much as I do. I'm posting them here in case you recognize these items. If these are yours, please respond through the site and we can arrange a pickup near LeClaire Park by the river.

Found: GPS devices in Quad Cities, Iowa.

I was biking along the Mississippi Riverfront in Davenport around 6:28 PM on Friday when I found three GPS devices tucked into a navy pouch beneath a bench near LeClaire Park. The devices looked recently used, with cables coiled underneath and a small sticker on one case. I didn’t see anyone around who claimed them, so I left them with the park staff at the visitor center, hoping the owner sees this.

Lost pocket watches near LeClaire Park, Davenport

While strolling along the Mississippi River at LeClaire Park in Davenport around 5:50 p.m. Saturday, I realized my pocket watches were missing from my coat pocket. One is a silver heirloom with a small dent near the hinge, the other a newer stainless piece with a black face. I retraced the riverfront path along the Mississippi from LeClaire Park toward the old freight house, but I came up empty. I’m hoping someone picked them up and will return them so the family can keep its stories ticking.

Lost Student ID near riverfront, Quad Cities

I was heading back to my car after a campus event on Saturday at 4:15 PM, near the Figge Art Museum in downtown Davenport. I must have dropped my student ID while weaving through a crowd by the river. It’s more than a card to me—it's my access and a little piece of my school routine. The lanyard is dark blue with a small school logo on the back. If someone turned it in to the site, that would mean the world to me.

Lost sheet music in Quad Cities, Iowa

Late Friday around 5:45 PM, I was practicing at LeClaire Park in Davenport when a gust of wind tore the pages loose from my binder. I must have left it on a bench near the park’s carousel. The binder is black with a bright red spine and a tiny piano sticker. It holds an original arrangement I’m finishing for a recital and a few personal notes I can’t replace. If anyone found a sheet music binder lying around LeClaire Park, please keep it safe—these pieces are important to me and I’d be so grateful to have them back.

LOST: Microwaves near downtown Quad Cities

Two microwaves disappeared from my apartment during a move, and I last saw them around 7:45 PM on Tuesday behind the Market Street loading dock in downtown Davenport, part of the Quad Cities. One is white with a dent on the door, the other black with a chipped handle. They’re heavy enough that a quick grab-and-go wouldn’t have been easy to miss. I rely on them for late dinners after long shifts, and the thought of replacing them hurts. If you saw a pair of microwaves near the riverfront or by the loading dock around Market Street, I would be grateful for any sighting.

FOUND CDs near the Figge Art Museum

Last Friday around 7:42 p.m., I FOUND a small pile of CDs on the sidewalk near the Figge Art Museum along the Mississippi River. A couple of jewel cases rattled when a breeze kicked up, and several covers looked familiar classic rock and indie stuff I recognize from the radio. I tucked the whole stack into my bag, noting handwritten labels on a few cases and a stray guitar pick tucked inside. It felt like a tiny clue in a bigger puzzle, a little reminder that someone's memories live in those discs. If these sound familiar to you, I hope you will see this and claim them.

Lost travel adapters in Quad Cities.

I was packing my bag at the Figge Art Museum area in downtown Davenport around 6:45 p.m. last Friday when my travel adapters slipped from my backpack. I rely on those adapters to keep my phone and laptop charged on the road, and the moment they disappeared I started retracing steps along the riverfront. The river lights reflected on the water as I checked the bench near the Centennial Bridge and the bus stop, but I could not find them. They are just small gray plastic boxes with a tangle of cords, and I'd be grateful to be reunited with them if anyone spotted them near that spot.

Gray North Face parka with red lining

I lost my gray North Face parka yesterday around 3pm near the Hy-Vee on 53rd Street in Davenport, by the coffee kiosk near the entrance. It's a men's size L, gray shell with a red quilted lining and a faux fur hood. There’s a bright lime green zipper pull I added and a tiny mountain patch on the inside pocket; inside pocket also has a faded photo of my dog. The coat has a small snag on the left cuff from a winter walk. It means a lot to me because it was a gift from my sister last year, so I’d be really grateful to get it back.

Golden Syrian hamster with white belly

I lost my golden Syrian hamster, Pebbles, yesterday around 5pm. He's a tiny, fluffy guy about the size of a ping-pong ball, with golden fur, a white belly, a small black dot near his left ear, and a faint crescent-shaped white patch on his right shoulder. Last seen in my Davenport apartment near the Hy-Vee on Elmore Avenue after I opened his cage to refill water and he bolted toward the couch and vanished behind the entertainment center. This hamster was a gift from my grandma for my daughter, so it means a lot to have him back; please message me if you spot him.

Silver hoop earrings with pearl drops and star charm

I lost my silver hoop earrings with pearl drops yesterday around 3pm near the Adler Theatre on 3rd Street in downtown Davenport. They’re small, about an inch across, with freshwater pearls that catch the light. The left hoop has a tiny silver star charm near the bottom; the right hoop is plain. They’re in decent shape, but one pearl has a tiny micro-scratch on the back. These mean a lot to me because they were a gift from my mom, and I really need to get them back. If you found them, I’d be grateful to hear from you at [email protected].

Navy blue North Face backpack with red zippers

Yesterday around 6:45pm I lost my navy blue North Face backpack near LeClaire Park along River Drive in Davenport. It's a medium-sized bag with red zipper pulls and a slightly worn bottom, plus a small orange bus-shaped keychain attached to the main zipper. Inside there's a gray laptop sleeve that fits a 13-inch laptop, a spiral notebook, and a faded sketchbook with doodles; the front pocket has a coffee ring stain I couldn't scrub out. This backpack has sentimental value—it's a gift from my sister, and I really need it back.

Gold-toned hoops with emerald-cut glass drops

I lost my gold-toned hoop earrings with emerald-cut glass drops yesterday around 3pm near the Centennial Bridge overlook along River Drive in Davenport, in the Quad Cities. They’re about 1 inch in diameter, gold-plated, with a small emerald-cut green glass drop that catches the light. One hoop has a tiny initials engraving 'A.J.' on the back post, and there’s a faint scratch along the inner edge of the other hoop. They mean a lot to me because they were a gift from my grandmother and I really need them back.

Blue LEGO Creator 3-in-1 set, missing yesterday

I was at NorthPark Mall in Davenport yesterday around 3pm, and my kid's blue LEGO Creator 3-in-1 set went missing from the play area near Barnes & Noble. It's a standard 12-inch LEGO box, mostly blue with a race-car image on the front, and it includes a tiny red 2x2 brick that helps identify it. The box has a scuff on the top edge and a Sharpie label with my kid's name 'Mira' on the side. This set means a lot to her—it was a gift to celebrate finishing a school project and has sentimental value. If anyone found it, please drop it at the NorthPark Mall security desk or reply here—we'd really appreciate getting it back.
