Lost & found string instruments in Prescott

LOST Violins near Courthouse Square, Prescott

Late Friday night around 7:45 pm, after a rehearsal near the Prescott Community Music Center, I realized my two violins were missing from my case. I had stepped out onto Courthouse Square, by the gazebo on Gurley Street, to catch my breath and perhaps tune on the go, and I must have left them there. The instruments are old but irreplaceable to me; they've carried me through countless recitals and late-night practice sessions. I spent the next hour wandering Whiskey Row and the surrounding sidewalks, hoping someone had found them and turned them in. If found, I’d be relieved beyond words.
