  1. Identify the operator. Note the route, line, or company and the rough time. Each operator runs its own lost property process.
  2. Submit a lost property report. Use the operator's online form or phone line as soon as possible; recovered items are logged against your description.
  3. For taxis and rideshare, contact the driver or company directly through your booking or app receipt.
  4. Keep your reference. Save any report number so you can chase it up.
  5. Post a listing. Add a listing for Poconos in case a fellow passenger picked it up.

LOST: Appliances in the Poconos, near Lake Harmony

I was staying in a cozy rental cabin in the Poconos and must have left behind a bundle of appliances after a chilly evening. Around 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, I noticed the coffee maker, blender, and toaster were missing from the kitchen by the sliding door that faces Lake Harmony. The scene is quiet, and I keep replaying the hike we took to the lake earlier, hoping they’re somewhere tucked in the storage closet or on the porch near the outdoor table. I’m feeling anxious and hopeful, counting on these appliances to get breakfast ready for my family this weekend.

Lost gym bags in the Poconos

Sunday around 7:45 PM I was in the Camelback Resort fitness center locker room in the Poconos when my gym bags disappeared from the locker row. They’re black with a gray logo, and inside I had a pair of blue sneakers, a towel, and a gym key. I’ve retraced my steps through the lobby and pool area, but they haven’t turned up yet. I hope whoever found them hands them in to the Lost & Found at the resort.

Lost rabbits in the Poconos

Hi, I’m Lily Chen, and I lost my rabbits in the Poconos. On Saturday, May 11, 2024, around 6:30 PM, they slipped out of their carrier at the Camelback Mountain trailhead parking area near the resort. There are two small rabbits, one white with gray spots and one brown, named Noodle and Mocha. I’m sick with worry—they’re gentle and curious, and I’m praying they haven’t wandered into the woods or ended up on someone’s porch.

LOST: Holiday Decorations in the Poconos

Saturday, December 9, around 4:15 PM, I was taking down the porch lights at our cabin near Camelback Mountain. I set the boxes on a bench by the cabin door to grab a sweater, and in a blink they disappeared—holiday garlands, red bows, and a few fragile glass ornaments my grandmother handed down. I searched the snow-dusted walk and strolled past the main lodge and the parking area, but nothing turned up. Those decorations mean a lot to me; they’re part of our family’s holiday mood, and I’d be grateful to have them back. If you found a box or a stray garland near the Camelback Mountain area, please keep it safe.

Lost leashes near Camelback Mountain Resort, Poconos

I was walking my dog Milo along the Camelback Trail behind Camelback Mountain Resort around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday when my grip loosened and the two leashes slipped away. One is a bright orange six-foot nylon leash; the other is black with a reflective stripe. I retraced the winding path through the pines by the picnic area and down toward the Creek Walk, hoping they hadn’t wandered far. Milo kept glancing back at me with those hopeful eyes, and I felt that ache of needing to protect him. If you found either leash, I’d be grateful to have them back.

Lost studs near Camelback Mountain, Poconos

I lost a pair of small gold stud earrings this morning around 11:20 a.m. while hiking the Summit Trail at Camelback Mountain in the Poconos. I had them in a little jewelry pouch on a pre-dawn photo walk, and they slipped out when I paused to take a panoramic shot by a snow-dusted spruce. I’ve checked the trail and the undergrowth along the stone path, but the studs didn’t turn up. Those earrings mean a lot to me, and I’m hoping a passerby picked them up.
