Saturday, December 9, around 4:15 PM, I was taking down the porch lights at our cabin near Camelback Mountain. I set the boxes on a bench by the cabin door to grab a sweater, and in a blink they disappeared—holiday garlands, red bows, and a few fragile glass ornaments my grandmother handed down. I searched the snow-dusted walk and strolled past the main lodge and the parking area, but nothing turned up. Those decorations mean a lot to me; they’re part of our family’s holiday mood, and I’d be grateful to have them back. If you found a box or a stray garland near the Camelback Mountain area, please keep it safe.
