Lost & found watches in Pierre / Central SD

Lost wrist watches by Capitol steps, Pierre.

Today at 9:45 a.m., I found myself at the Missouri Riverfront near the State Capitol steps in Pierre when I realized my two wrist watches were missing from the cafe table. One is a silver Timex with a cracked face and a brown leather strap; the other is a small black watch with a blue dial that my dad gave me. I’ve worn them almost every day for years, and losing them feels like losing a piece of family history. If they’re out there, I’m holding onto hope they’ll be returned to the riverfront or the Capitol area so they can come home.
