Black Wayfarer-style glasses with etched initials

I found a pair of glasses this morning around 7:45am on the sidewalk outside the Riverfront Park entrance off Main Street in Peoria. They’re black acetate Wayfarer-style frames with a small scratch on the right lens and initials 'A.J.' etched on the inner left temple. The glasses sit in a navy blue hard case with a slightly worn zipper, tucked under a bench near the Oak Street crossing. They look well-loved but still sturdy, and I figured they must belong to someone who really needs them for work or school.
