LOST: Sheet Music in Peoria, downtown area
I was rehearsing for a local recital at a small studio near downtown Peoria and think I left my sheet music there. Yesterday, around 9:15 a.m., I discovered a blue binder with Chopin nocturnes and a few practice pages missing from the desk by the window. The binder is well-worn, with a pencil-on cover note and a crease along the spine. I’m anxious because the recital is in two weeks, and losing those pages feels like losing my nerves on stage.
Found saxophones after Peoria riverfront festival
I was volunteering at the Peoria Riverfront Jazz Fest near Peoria Riverfront Park around 3:45 PM on Saturday when I spotted a hard-shell saxophones case tucked behind a bench near the stage. Inside were two saxophones, a worn neck strap, and a dusty reed case. My first thought was to find the owner; I know how heavy a loss feels when you’re practicing late and lose track of gear. I’m posting here because I’d want someone to be reunited with their music after a long day. If this helps, the gear looks well-loved and I’ve kept it safe since I found it.
Black Novation Circuit Tracks groove-synth
I lost my black Novation Circuit Tracks groove-synth yesterday around 3pm. It's a compact, rectangular unit with a matte black finish, neon-blue pads, and a small silver jog wheel. Distinguishing features: a tiny dent on the top edge near the power switch, and a pale blue sticker with my initials 'PP' on the bottom panel. I last had it outside the Peoria Civic Center area, near the Adams Street entrance by the outdoor stage after a quick set. This synth is essential for my gigs and songwriting, and it really means a lot to me—it's not replaceable, and I’m desperate to get it back.
