Lost: Sheets after moving near riverfront
On Monday around 2:00 PM, I was moving boxes into my new apartment near the Peoria Riverfront Museum when I left a set of white bed sheets in the hallway to sort laundry. I stepped out to grab a carton, and when I got back they were gone. The set is plain white with a thin gray border and a tiny coffee-stain pattern on one corner from late nights. Losing them feels personal; they’re the first thing I had unpacked and they remind me of home. If someone found them around Adams Street by the riverfront, I’d be grateful to have them returned.

I was walking along the sidewalk behind the Peoria Riverfront Market around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday when I spotted a tool bag with a hammer, screwdrivers, pliers, and a tape measure. It looked like someone had dropped it while heading toward the riverfront path. I picked it up and kept it safe in my backpack, hoping the owner would recognize it. The tools show signs of regular use, likely from a home workshop, and I know how important that kit can be for a job around the house. It would be great to see it back with its owner.

Lost radios in Peoria, IL
Two radios were left on a bench by the Peoria Riverfront this evening around 6:45 PM. I had paused to check a map on my phone and must have stepped away for a moment; when I turned back, the radios were gone. The bigger one is a vintage black and silver transistor model, and the smaller is a gray handheld walkie-talkie. They belonged to my grandfather and my uncle, so they carry memories as well as tunes. I’ve retraced Market Street and checked the Peoria Public Library area, but I haven’t found them yet.
