Lost trading cards near Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.

near Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Lost listing Posted 9 days ago

Description

I was leaving the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse parking area at 7:15 PM on Tuesday, walking toward the dunes when I noticed my green binder sticking out from the sand. It’s a well-worn collection of trading cards, the cover with a red star and a few smudges from sun and salt. Inside are cards from the late teens—baseball, basketball, some vintage rookies—and I’ve traded with friends for years. The memory is tied to summer sunsets and drives along the Outer Banks with my mom. If you happened to find it, please think back to where you last saw me near the lighthouse restroom area and the nearby benches. I’d be grateful to have it back.
