This morning, around 9:15 a.m., I found a stack of bus tickets crumpled under a bench by the Lake Eola fountain in Orlando. They show recent use, routes and dates still legible. I tucked them into my jacket and am posting this so the rightful owner can see they’re here and be reunited with them. It felt right to do something thoughtful, since someone relied on those trips and would be relieved to have them back.
Lost Student ID in Orlando
I was strolling around Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando after a morning class. My student ID, attached to my backpack, must have slipped out when I paused to snap a photo of the swan boats. I hurried back past the fountain and the bike rental shack, but it was not there. I am anxious about losing it because it grants campus access and card privileges. I am hoping it surfaces soon; until then I am worried about missing classes or library access.
