Lost coins on the Oregon Coast
I lost my coins around 5:15 p.m. on Saturday while strolling the Newport Bayfront near Mo's Restaurant along the Oregon Coast. I was enjoying a sea breeze by the Yaquina Bay Bridge and slipped a hand into my pocket for a little change when I realized the pouch was lighter. The coins are in a small worn leather pouch that holds a handful of quarters and a lone silver dollar from my grandfather's collection; they’re not valuable, just precious to me because he started me collecting. I’ve kept them for our family trips, and they feel like a link to him. If someone spots them along the promenade, please keep an eye out.
Lost sports equipment along the Oregon coast.
I lost my sports equipment bag on the Oregon Coast yesterday evening. At about 6:15 p.m., I was walking from the Yaquina Bay lighthouse overlook in Newport when I realized the bag wasn’t in the spot where I left it on the bench. It holds gear for several sports—a gray backpack, a soccer ball, a couple of rackets, and a water bottle. I’m worried someone may have picked it up or moved it, and I feel anxious about replacing what I use for practice. If it turns up, I hope it’s found and kept safe near the lighthouse until I can pick it up.

Found a blue plush dinosaur this afternoon around 4:15pm near the Seaside Promenade outside the Candy Cove Shop on Ave C in Seaside, Oregon. It's about 12 inches tall, with soft blue fabric, an orange belly, and tiny white teeth. There’s a small yellow ribbon tied around its neck and a faint star patch on one foot. It looked well-loved and clean, and I found it sitting on a bench by the beach access path after the tide went out. If someone lost it, describe the ribbon color and the star patch to claim it.
