Found train near Newport Bayfront
On Saturday at 9:05 pm, I was strolling along the Newport Bayfront when I spotted a small wooden model train tucked behind a bench near the promenade. It looks well-loved, with a couple of chipped spots in the paint and a faded sticker on the tender. I imagine a kid or hobbyist brought it here and forgot it, and the thought gave me a little ache. I’ve kept it safe for now and posted this listing in the hope it finds its way home.
Blue passport in navy sleeve near Yaquina Bay Lighthouse
Yesterday around 3pm I realized my blue passport was missing after I grabbed a coffee near the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse and headed toward the Newport promenade. It's in a navy sleeve, with my initials 'P.P.' in gold on the inside cover, and there’s a tiny wave sticker on the sleeve that I added for quick ID. The passport matters a lot to me—it's tied to a critical travel plan and holds sentimental value from a prior trip, and I'm really hoping it turns up. If you found it anywhere along the Newport Bayfront or near Seaport Coffee Roasters, please drop it off at the Lost & Found on the Bayfront or message me here.
Blue OCCC ID badge with red reel
I lost my blue Oregon Coast Community College ID badge yesterday around 4:15pm near Mo's Restaurant on Nye Beach in Newport. The badge is a plastic card about the size of a credit card, with a blue body and a red retractable reel. The front shows the OCCC crest and my name; the bottom edge is a bit chipped and there's a coffee stain on the back. It means a lot to me—it's not just access, it has sentimental value and I really need it back to keep going with class and work. If you found it, please reach out through the app; I’d be grateful to get it back.
