Lost violins near Litchfield Green
I was finishing a late practice outside the old council chambers near Litchfield Green in Northwestern CT around 6:15 PM Tuesday when I realized my two violin cases were gone from the corner of the rehearsal room. The larger violin has a warm golden-brown varnish and a small chip along the edge; the smaller one is a lighter student model with a brighter tone. They’re priceless to me, as they’ve been passed down in my family for generations, and I’ve got a concert next month. I’ve retraced the path from the green to the library steps and back toward the river path by the mill, but they didn’t turn up. If you saw them, please keep them safe until I can pick them up.

I was at the Torrington Public Library around 4:15 PM on a breezy Tuesday when I spotted a folder stuffed with sheet music tucked beneath a chair by the reference desk. The pages were neatly notated, some with notes and a few coffee stains along the edges. It looked like someone had been practicing a piece for a recital—the kind of thing a musician would treasure. I’m not the owner, so I’m posting this in case the rightful musician sees this and can claim it; I hope it finds its home soon.

I lost my black Korg microKorg synthesizer yesterday around 3pm near the Torrington Public Library on Prospect Street in Northwestern CT. It's a compact 37-key synth in matte black, with a small dent on the bottom right corner and a red owl-shaped sticker on the back. I also carry a gray protective cover and a front panel label that says 'Studio 4'. This instrument means a lot to me—it's how I write demos for my band, and it was a gift from my mentor. If anyone found it, please get in touch; I really need it back.

I accidentally left my beautifully hand-painted tambourine at a picnic area near Lake Waramaug while enjoying a jam session with friends. I misplaced my red Yamaha electric keyboard while I was out visiting friends in Northwestern CT last weekend. I think I left it at a café on Main Street. It’s a bit banged up but still plays perfectly. I'm really hoping someone might have seen it or picked it up. It has a few stickers on the casing, which makes it stand out!
