It’s the kind of kit that means weekend practices, after-school leagues, and a little team pride. I pictured the player rushing back after practice, probably frustrated and worried, and felt a surge of relief at the thought of reuniting them with their stuff. I left everything together in a neat bundle, ready to be picked up by the front desk at the community center so the owner can reclaim it.

Black Labrador mix found near Walmart on Dewey St

I found a 2-year-old black Labrador mix this afternoon around 3:15pm. He's about medium size, maybe 60 pounds, with a shiny black coat and a small white patch on his chest. He was wandering near the Walmart on Dewey Street in North Platte, sniffing under cars by the curb, and he automatically came to me when I called 'Buddy'. He wears a bright red nylon collar with a blue bone-shaped tag, but no ID. He seems healthy and friendly, and I thought someone might be looking for him after he slipped away from a walk. Gray North Face backpack found near Walmart

I found a gray North Face backpack this afternoon around 1:15 PM outside the Walmart Supercenter on S. Dewey Ave in North Platte. It's a medium-sized backpack in good condition, with a couple of scuffs on the bottom from daily use. Inside there’s a spiral notebook, a stainless steel water bottle, and a blue enamel compass pin on the strap—easy to spot. There’s a faded sticker of a state park on the outside pocket and a black USB-C charger tucked into the side pouch. If the owner sees this, I’d be glad to return it to them.

I found a silver-tone necklace this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the Walmart Supercenter on S Dewey Ave in North Platte. It’s an 18-inch chain with a small heart pendant that has a tiny blue stone set in the top corner.
