LOST Travel Bags near Journal Square PATH, North Jersey, NJ.
This morning at 8:42 a.m., I was rushing through Journal Square PATH Station with two travel bags when a gust whipped them from my hands and they rolled toward the stairwell near the vending machines. One bag is a large black roller with a bright red tag; the other is an olive-green duffel stuffed with a few outfits and a compact camera. I circled the area, asked a few commuters, and checked the waiting area, but the bags were gone. I’m anxious because these bags hold work clothes and a camera I’ve saved up for, and I’m hoping someone saw them and kept them safe around the PATH entrance at Newark Ave.
Lost hats in North Jersey
I lost my charcoal-gray knit hat around 7:20 PM yesterday in North Jersey, just outside the Hoboken PATH Station near Pier A Park. The wind off the Hudson cut through my ears as I searched the sidewalk, by benches and food carts, with no luck. That hat has kept me warm through countless commutes, and losing it felt personal and frustrating. If someone picked it up, I’d be grateful to have it back so I can start wearing it again on those late trains.
Lost microwaves in North Jersey
On Sunday around 9:00 PM, while I was unloading a moving truck in North Jersey, I realized my microwaves were gone. They were in a large beige tote labeled kitchen, left by the Hoboken PATH Station entrance on 2nd Street. They’re not glamorous, but they’re practical and I’m stressed about finishing this move without them. If anyone saw a pair of microwaves by the Hoboken Terminal area, I’d appreciate any sighting.
Memory cards found at Secaucus Junction
I found memory cards tucked in a weatherproof case near the Secaucus Junction concourse around 5:30 PM yesterday. The case is marked with the initials A.R., and one card still holds a few seaside photos. They seem important to whoever owns them, possibly for work or school, so I kept them secure and handed the case to the information desk at the station. I imagine the moment of realizing the cards were missing and the relief of finding them safe again. I hope the owner recognizes their contents and retrieves them soon.
Lost Document Holders near Secaucus Junction
I’m writing with that sinking feeling you get when a routine day goes sideways. I last had my Document Holders around 4:15 PM Friday, rushing to the 4:30 train at Secaucus Junction. They’re black leather, a bit worn at the corners, with a few papers sticking out of the top pocket. I retraced steps through the main concourse, checked the benches by the vending machines, and paused near Entrance C, but the holders were gone. They hold work forms, a resume, and notes I planned to mail this weekend. If anyone found them, please keep them safe near the security desk until I can get to them.
Lost GPS devices in North Jersey
Early this morning around 9:15 a.m., I was grabbing coffee and walking along the overlook at Paterson Great Falls when I realized my GPS devices were missing from my backpack. The two compact units, both with black casings and one in a blue sleeve, were my lifeline for navigating North Jersey during job runs. I must have set them down on a bench outside the Paterson Public Library, because that’s the last place I remember using them. I’m hoping the person who found them sees this and returns them; I rely on these devices to get to meetings on time and to stay oriented in this busy area.
Found travel visas near Journal Square PATH Station, Jersey City
Today, around 4:15 PM, I found a folder containing travel visas on a bench outside a cafe near Journal Square PATH Station in Jersey City. It looked official enough to give anyone pause, with a brown folder and a few passport-sized photos peeking out. I tucked it under my jacket to keep it safe while I scanned the area for anyone lingering nearby, but no one seemed to be looking for it. I know how important these papers are, and I would want the owner to have them returned quickly.
Found these postcards near Montclair Public Library.
Hey there, I’m Alex Rivera. I found these postcards this afternoon while wandering past the Montclair Public Library on South Park Street, around 3:20 p.m. today. They’re a little worn, with stamps from trips years ago, and a neat photo tucked between a couple of cards. It felt like stumbling into someone else’s family memories, and I couldn’t just walk off with them. I kept them in my tote for now, hoping the owner sees this and recognizes their own keepsakes. They’re a tiny time capsule, and I’d love to help reunite them with the owner.
Found sheet music near Grove Street PATH station
I found a weathered folder with sheet music on a bench by the Grove Street PATH entrance in Jersey City around 4:15 p.m. last Tuesday. The pages were a little damp from the drizzle, but the notes were readable and clean. I opened the folder and saw a few markings that suggested it belonged to a student, but there was no name. If these belong to someone, I hope they are reunited with the musician who left them behind.
Korg microKORG synth, black with orange panels
I lost my black and orange Korg microKORG portable synthesizer yesterday around 3pm outside the Montclair Center on Church Street, near Whole Foods. It's a 37-key compact synth in decent shape, with a couple cosmetic scratches and a small dent on the bottom-right corner. The back has a 'Sound Lab' sticker that I use for my gigs. This synth is sentimental to me and I really need it back; if anyone found it, please let me know. I use it for practice and small shows around North Jersey, and I’m hoping to get it home soon.
Blue plush unicorn with rainbow mane found near Paramus
I found a blue plush unicorn, about 12 inches tall, in the parking lot behind the Target at Garden State Plaza in Paramus this afternoon around 2:15pm. It has a rainbow mane, a white horn, and a pink star on its flank. The fabric is soft but there's a tiny snag on the left ear and a faint outline of a name tag on the back. It clearly belongs to a kid—I'm sure someone is missing it. If this is yours, reply here and we can arrange a meetup in the mall parking lot.
Black Ray-Ban round metal sunglasses
I lost my black Ray-Ban round metal sunglasses yesterday around 3pm near the CVS on Bloomfield Ave in Montclair. They're the classic Ray-Ban round metal frames with a matte black finish and gold nose bridge, lightweight and comfortable. One identifying feature is a tiny scratch on the left temple near the hinge, and the inside of the case has a blue microfiber pouch with my initials 'PR' in white marker. They were a gift from my grandmother, so they feel really sentimental and I would be grateful to get them back. If anyone picked them up, please reach out.
Silver charm bracelet with heart charm
I lost my silver charm bracelet yesterday around 3pm while walking along Hudson Place near the Hoboken PATH entrance. It's a slim 6.5-inch chain with a heart charm, a tiny brass compass pendant, and a charm engraved with the initials 'AK'. There’s also a pale blue bead charm that’s a bit loose, and the clasp is slightly tarnished. It’s sentimental because my mom gave it to me before I moved to North Jersey for college, and I’d really love to get it back. If you find it, email me at [email protected].
Brown Coach wallet with coffee stain
I was grabbing a latte at the Starbucks on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair yesterday around 3pm when I must've set my wallet down somewhere. It's a brown Coach bifold, about the size of a paperback, with a gold Coach emblem on the front, slightly frayed stitching along the right edge, and a small coffee stain on the back. Inside are my driver's license, a few credit cards, and about $60 in cash. It has sentimental value—my mom gave it to me, and I really need it back. If anyone found it, please reach out; I can describe the contents or the stain to confirm it's mine.
Blue Nike windbreaker, size L, orange interior
I lost my blue Nike windbreaker, size L, yesterday around 4:15pm near the Hoboken Terminal, outside the PATH entrance on Hudson Street. It's a lightweight water-resistant jacket with a bright orange lining that makes it easy to spot when I'm rushing between trains. The jacket has a small scuff on the left elbow and a tiny reflective star sticker on the chest pocket—super unique. It's my go-to gym jacket and has sentimental value because it was a gift from my sister who moved away last year. I'm in North Jersey and really hope someone who found it will spot me here and share it. If you saw it around the bike racks by the PATH entrance, please drop a note here; I'd be forever grateful.
