Gold ring with emerald setting found near Grainger Market

I found a gold ring this afternoon around 3pm on Grainger Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, near the Grainger Market entrance. It's a slim 14k gold band with a bezel-set emerald about the size of a pea. The inner band is engraved with the initials 'LH' and there's a tiny scratch along the outer edge from wear. I picked it up from the pavement by a cafe and tucked it into a napkin for safekeeping, hoping to reunite it with its owner; if you’ve lost it, I’d love to get it back to you.
