Lost USB drives near Grand Central
I was leaving my office near Grand Central Terminal in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, at 9:15 PM on Thursday when I realized my USB drives were missing from my bag. They hold work files I need for an upcoming deadline, and they’re a black 8GB with a red label and a white 64GB with a blue label. I’d been walking west along 42nd Street, then turning onto Vanderbilt Avenue, and I must have dropped them somewhere between the office and the subway. I’ve retraced the blocks from Grand Central to Bryant Park, but no luck so far. If they’re found, please return them to the site’s Lost and Found so I can recover them.
Blue hardcover mystery novel with skyline embossing
I lost my blue hardcover mystery novel yesterday around 3pm outside the Strand Bookstore on Broadway near 12th Street. It's a navy blue cloth cover with a subtle city skyline embossing and a gold spine; there’s a small dent on the top edge. Inside, a green subway-map bookmark sticks out at page 214 and there’s a faint coffee stain along the bottom corner. It’s sentimental to me—my late aunt gave it to me, and NYC detective stories were our thing. If anyone found it, I’d be so grateful to get it back; it feels like a piece of the city I shared with her.
Lost vintage comic book 'The Amazing Adventures' with a blue cover in Central Park.
I lost my precious vintage comic book, 'The Amazing Adventures', while walking in Central Park last Sunday afternoon. It's in great condition, with colorful illustrations and a distinct blue cover. It’s a significant part of my collection and I really hope to get it back. If found, please contact me!
