Description
Lost sheet music from my brass ensemble. I was rehearsing with friends on a humid Friday evening, about 6:15 p.m., near the French Market along the riverfront in New Orleans. I set the binder on a bench by a beignet vendor and stepped away for a moment to grab a quick drink. When I got back, the pages, with my name on the cover, were gone, and the crowd had already swallowed the street in music and chatter.
