Lost Sculptures in New Orleans, Louisiana
I realized I’d left behind a small batch of sculptures during a stroll along the French Market near Jackson Square, around 2:15 pm last Sunday. The set includes two bronze figures and a cracked ceramic piece, all roughly a foot tall, with a weathered patina and bright acrylic accents. I had them in a tote for a local gallery stop, and I must have bumped them during the crowd turning toward the riverfront. If someone picked them up, please let me know where I can reclaim them—these pieces mean a lot to me and carry memories of this city.
Lost sports gear near City Park, New Orleans
Hi, Marie LeBlanc here. I lost my equipment for various sports after a morning workout on Tuesday around 7:45 a.m. I had left a gym bag filled with tennis racquets, a basketball, and a pair of cleats near the City Park jogging path, just east of the large oak trees by the lake. The bag has a bright yellow strap and a blue towel sticking out of the zipper. I’m anxious because that gear is for games and practice and also full of memories. If you came across it, I’d really appreciate any help locating it.
Found vintage Star Wars Darth Vader action figure
Found a vintage Star Wars Darth Vader action figure this morning around 9am behind the French Market on Decatur Street. It's a 3.75-inch Kenner figure from the late 1980s, with a black cape and a slightly faded chest panel. The helmet has a tiny scuff on the right temple and there’s a faint sticker residue on the back. I’m keeping it safe and would love to return it to the rightful owner—this little guy clearly meant something to someone, and I figured a collector might be missing him.
