I was walking along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk near the SkyWheel around 6 PM when I felt a light breeze and realized my pin collection wasn’t in my jacket pocket anymore. They’re a handful of enamel pins—bright palm trees, a seashell, and a tiny compass—that my grandmother gave me on trips. Losing them makes me feel a little hollow; those pins connect me to her and to family memories. If you found them somewhere near the boardwalk, I’d be grateful to know they’re safe.
