Lost photographs from family album, Muncie/Anderson
Last Friday at 7:15 PM, I stepped away from Lilly's Diner on Main Street in Muncie to take a quick call. My tote with a small album of family photographs was inside, and I must have left it on the counter. When I returned, the tote was gone. The pictures span decades—moments from my grandmother’s wedding, school days in Anderson, road trips with my parents, and notes on the backs of some prints. Losing them feels like losing pieces of my history. They’re irreplaceable, and I’m hopeful someone honest found them and will bring them to the lost-and-found.
Silver Kindle Paperwhite with blue dragon sticker
Yesterday around 3pm I realized my silver Kindle Paperwhite had vanished. It was last seen near the Muncie Central Public Library on Walnut Street, tucked inside a light gray protective case with a small blue dragon sticker on the back. The device has a slight scratch along the bottom edge and my initials 'A.H.' scrawled on the charging cover. This Kindle holds family photos and many notes, so I’m really hoping to get it back—it means a lot to me.
Gray 15-inch MacBook Pro in black sleeve
I found a gray 15-inch MacBook Pro this morning around 11am outside Bracken Library on the Ball State University campus in Muncie. It’s in a slim black neoprene sleeve, and the lid sports a blue mountain sticker along with a white sticker reading 'KP' near the trackpad. The aluminum body has a few light scuffs along the edge, but the screen looks clean and the charger is tucked in the sleeve pocket. It was sitting unattended near the library entrance by the bike racks, and I figured someone must be frantically looking for it.
