Pants lost in Monroe, Michigan
I lost my favorite gray pants this evening. I was walking the River Raisin Trail through Monroe City Park around 7:15 pm and must have dropped them on a bench near the overlook by the river bend. I retraced my steps past the old courthouse steps and along the picnic area, but they were gone. Those pants were my go-to for interviews, and I’m really hoping someone picked them up and will bring them back through the site.

One is a navy felt fedora and the other a gray knit beanie with a small patch; they looked recently worn and probably belong to someone who was out running errands or grabbing coffee. I picked them up and left them near the coffee shop window, hoping the owner would recognize them and come by. I lost my blue Nike AquaFit swim shorts yesterday around 5pm near Riverside Park Pool on Riverfront Ave in Monroe. They're men's size M, quick-dry fabric with bright lime-green piping along the sides and a white Nike swoosh on the left thigh. The drawstring is white and a bit frayed, and there's a small chlorine stain on the back pocket. They’re my go-to pair for practice and they feel kind of sentimental to me—I wore them every week this season, and I really need them back. They’re honestly in decent condition, a few scuffs from weekend runs. They’re sentimental to me—they were a gift from my grandfather and I’d be devastated to lose them.
