The haul sits in a small, dusty display case with a green felt interior and a brass latch. Inside there's about 60 coins from the 1940s through the 1960s, plus a red leather-bound stamp album with well-thumbed pages and a few air-mail stamps still attached. One noticeable feature: a brass tag on the display case engraved with 'D.R.' and a loose sticky note tucked in the stamp album's front pocket reading 'Property of D.R. 1972'. The items look gently weathered but well cared for, and I really hope to see them go back to their owner.
