Lost: Utensils in Modesto, CA
I lost my everyday utensils after dinner yesterday. It was around 6:45 p.m. outside the Gallo Center for the Arts in downtown Modesto, as I fumbled with my coat and tried to herd everyone into the car. I left the dented silver ladle, the blue-handled spatula, and the chipped wooden spoon on a bench near the curb, and by the time we circled back they were gone. I know it sounds small, but these are the tools I use for simple meals, and they carry a lot of memories. If you found them, I’d really appreciate knowing where they turned up.
Found two toasters near Graceada Park, Modesto
Yesterday afternoon around 4:30, I found two toasters sitting on a bench outside Graceada Park, near the 7th Street entrance in Modesto. They were dusty and mismatched—one chrome with a dented knob, the other white with a red lever—clearly not items you expect to find just lying around. It felt odd, like a quiet reminder that someone’s morning routine got interrupted, maybe after a move or a garage sale. I’m posting this here in case they belong to someone who’s been searching for them. If it’s yours, please reach out via the site so we can arrange a proper handoff.
Red toolbox with yellow latch and initials J.R.
I lost my red metal toolbox yesterday around 3pm near the Home Depot on McHenry Avenue in Modesto. It’s about 18 inches long with a bright yellow latch and a sturdy top handle. Inside you’ll find a steel hammer with a green handle, a tape measure, and needle-nose pliers. There’s an engraving on the lid with the initials 'J.R.' plus a small dent on the left corner and a faint rust spot along the bottom edge. It’s special to me because it belonged to my late father and I really need it back for upcoming projects. If found, please message me here so we can arrange a pickup.
