FOUND Rabbits near Battleship Memorial Park
I was walking back to my car just after sunset, around 6:40 p.m. yesterday, when two rabbits hopped onto the edge of the lawn near Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile. They paused under a streetlamp, noses twitching, as if wondering where their home was. I coaxed them toward the car and checked the nearby benches for a flyer, but there were none. They seemed clean and well fed, just a little spooked by the traffic and the sirens in the distance. I brought them with me for safety and am hoping someone recognizes them and can reunite them with their family.
Lost Tank Accessories in Mobile, AL
Tuesday around 2:50 p.m., I was in Mobile, outside the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center on Government Street, chatting with a friend after a quick exhibit visit. I set my Tank Accessories down in a small black case with red trim while I adjusted a jacket, and when I looked back a moment later, they were gone. They’re tiny metal pieces from a WWII tank-model kit, but they mean a lot to me because they belonged to my late grandfather. I’ve walked the block a few times and patted the nearby benches at Bienville Square, hoping they turned up, but so far nothing. I’m hopeful they’ll reappear.

I found a young golden retriever around the outskirts of Bellingrath Gardens in Mobile. He looked a bit lost and was very friendly, wagging his tail and following me around. He was not wearing a collar so I have no way of knowing who he belongs to. I'm hoping to find his owner because he seems like a beloved pet.
