I was decorating my apartment on Ocean Drive near Lummus Park around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday when a box of holiday decorations slipped out of my hands and vanished from my hallway. The box held a handmade ornament passed down from my grandmother and a string of bright fairy lights that bring back memories of past holidays. I lost my vibrant blue and yellow striped beach umbrella while I was at South Beach over the weekend. It must have fallen out of my bag when I was packing up to leave. I'm really hoping someone picked it up because it has great sentimental value to me.
