lost: Paintings in Meridian
Yesterday at 2:30 p.m., after a quick show at Meridian Arts Center on 5th Avenue, I left two paintings near the loading dock and headed home. The paintings are medium-sized oil works in ornate frames—one a river scene with shimmering water, the other a sunlit Meridian street. They mean a lot to me after months of work and a recent move, and losing them feels personal. I’m hoping they were simply mislaid and someone picked them up for safekeeping, because they’re the kind of pieces you’d notice if you saw them. I lost my blue plush dragon stuffed toy yesterday around 3pm by the fountain at Meridian Mall on Main Street. It's about 12 inches tall, made by SnugglePals, with a yellow star patch on its belly and a small tear under the right ear. The fur is soft but a little worn from all the hugs, and there's a faint coffee stain on the left paw. I lost my child's favorite stuffed giraffe while we were playing in the park near Meridian. We were on the playground around 3 PM last Saturday and I think it might have fallen from the stroller when we were packing up to leave. It's a soft, plush toy with big eyes and a yellow body featuring brown spots. It's really special to my daughter, and we're hoping to find it again!
