Found sports equipment near Glass Beach.
I was walking along the Fort Bragg waterfront near the Glass Beach parking lot on Sunday around 3:20 PM when I found a bag stuffed with Equipment for Various Sports. Inside was a green duffel, a basketball, several jerseys, a few cones, and even a lacrosse stick, plus water bottles stamped with a local league. It looked like someone’s weekend training pack had been left behind in the sea breeze while they grabbed a quick bite. I felt a wave of relief thinking about the person who might be worried, and I’m glad to help reunite them with their gear.
Blue plush dragon named Niko with red scarf
I lost my daughter's blue plush dragon named Niko this afternoon around 2:45pm near the Safeway on North State Street in Ukiah, in the parking lot by the carts. It's about 12 inches tall, a soft blue plush with a bright red knit scarf, and tiny silver felt wings. The tag on the paw says 'CuddleCo Dragon Pals'—it's worn from a few washes, and there's a small tear on the tail I stitched up. It really means a lot to my 4-year-old; she carries it everywhere and it's her bedtime buddy. If anyone found it, text or email me; we'd be beyond grateful to get it back.
