I’m Samuel Reed. I realized around 3:15 p.m. last Thursday that my Equipment for Various Sports was missing from the bench outside the Allegheny College gym, where I had left it for a quick drill at West Mead Park. The navy duffel with a red stripe held a soccer ball with a faded crest, a dented goalie glove, a pair of scuffed basketball shoes, and a handful of shin guards. The grass smelled fresh and the late sun had me feeling a bit defeated—those pieces aren’t just gear, they’re the rhythm of our weekend tournaments. If you saw a navy duffel near the Allegheny College gym, I’d appreciate any information.
