Hi, I’m Lena Carter. I found a set of flutes in Portland, Maine around 2:40 PM this Sunday, tucked beside Monument Square. They’re in a black hard case with two separate mouthpieces and a little repair kit in the pocket. The initials on the case suggest a student or local musician is missing them. They’re in good shape, and it felt right to keep them safe until the owner shows up. I’d love to see them back with the person who played them.

LOST Sculptures in Portland, Maine
I lost my sculptures on Friday around 7:30 PM in downtown Portland, Maine. I had been moving two sculptures in a weathered wooden crate along Congress Street when a gust swept the crate off the handcart and into the street near the Portland Museum of Art. One piece is copper, about 28 inches tall; the other is a pale stone abstract. I retraced my steps along Congress Street and the Western Prom, but they’re nowhere to be found. They’re years of work and a big part of my life, and I’m hoping a neighbor or passerby might have picked them up and seen this post.
