Description
Last Sunday at 3:45 p.m., I left a box of holiday decorations on the front porch of my apartment on Jefferson Street in Lynchburg. A gust knocked the lid, and the garlands, a wreath, and a string of lights slid toward Court Street near the Lynchburg Market. I walked that route and the courthouse lawn twice, but nothing turned up. They are not fancy, just memories from family gatherings. I miss the glow they give our home and the sense of Christmas we try to keep alive. If you saw them, please think of us.
