I lost my sheet music after a late practice at the Lied Center in Lincoln at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. I’d left the folder on a chair near the stage, the blue cover with my name penciled on the back. The pages hold the pieces I’m preparing for a university audition, and I’m a bundle of nerves about missing a page that could shape my entire performance. There are engraved initials 'AP' on the lip plate and on the lid of the case. It’s sentimental—it was a gift from my grandmother—and I really need it back.
