My name is Grace Bennett. I lost a small set of enamel pins on Saturday around 11:15 a.m. at Cheapside Park during a walk near the Lexington Farmers Market. The pins meant a lot to me; they feature a tiny fox, a crescent moon, and a star and were gifts from my grandmother. I wore them on my jacket for good luck, and their loss feels personal. If you have seen them, I would be grateful to hear they have found their way back near the market entrance.
At 9:45 AM this morning, I realized I must have left my driver's license somewhere around the University of Kentucky campus in Lexington. I was walking from the Student Center toward Main Street, passing the William T. Young Library when I noticed it was gone. The license is a standard blue card with my photo on the front, and losing it has me feeling anxious about daily errands. If anyone found it, I’d really appreciate it getting back to me.
I came home after helping a friend move around 9:10 p.m. Friday and discovered my two toasters were missing from the kitchen counter in my Lexington apartment. I’m sure I left them on the counter on South Broadway after unloading groceries, and now they’re gone. They aren’t fancy, just reliable, and I use them daily, so losing them is more annoying than anything else. If someone picked them up by chance, I’d really appreciate their return through the site.
I lost my cockatiel, a grey bird with a bright yellow crest and orange cheeks, yesterday around 3:15pm. It was perched on my shoulder outside the Kroger on Limestone Street in Lexington, near the UK Medical Center, and it slipped from my grip when a door slammed. It’s mostly grey, with that sunny yellow crest and orange cheek patches that really stand out. There’s a tiny chipped feather on the left wing I can use to identify it. This bird is a gift from my grandmother and has a lot of sentimental value; I’m really hoping someone who finds it will reach out so I can bring it home.
I found a US passport this afternoon around 3:15pm in Lexington, in the parking lot behind the Fayette Mall off Nicholasville Road. It's a dark blue US passport with the gold seal, a bit worn at the corners—the kind of thing that clearly travels. The pages look intact and readable, but there's a small coffee stain on the back cover and a barcode sticker on the inside back cover. It obviously belongs to someone and I want to help reunite them with it; losing a passport is stressful, and this one seems recently used. If you recognize any detail here, reach out so the owner can get their documents back quickly.
I lost my silver bracelet yesterday around 3pm while I was walking along Limestone Street by the UK campus, near the William T. Young Library. It's a slender silver bracelet with a tiny heart charm; the heart is engraved with the initials 'A.N.' on the clasp and there's a small turquoise bead near the end. It was a gift from my mom, so it means a lot to me and I'm really hoping to get it back. If anyone finds it, please reach out; I'd be forever grateful to be reunited with it.
