I found a small zip pouch containing travel adapters on Saturday at 6:40 p.m., tucked under a bench outside the Leeds Corn Exchange on Briggate. The adapters were tangled with a charger and a faded map, and I kept them safe in my pocket while I looked around for any sign of the owner. It hit me then how easy it is to misplace something important after a busy day of shopping and trains, and I felt a mix of relief and curiosity about who they belonged to. If you’ve been wandering through Leeds city centre and realized something’s gone missing, I’d be glad to see these travelers reunited with their owner through the site.

On Friday at about 7:30 pm, I noticed my holiday decorations were gone from the living room window of my flat near Leeds city centre. I last saw them on the coffee table by the sofa and I retraced my steps through the hallway to the back door, checking behind the radiator and under the stairs on Kirkstall Road. The set includes a red-and-gold tinsel garland, a string of tiny LED snowflakes, and a small blue paper lantern. It felt like a little piece of Christmas slipped away, and I’m hoping someone who passed by Briggate last night might have found them and kept them safe.
