Lost rabbits near Elmer Thomas Park, Lawton
I was walking back from Elmer Thomas Park around 8:15 p.m. Friday when my two rabbits slipped from their carrier and vanished near the duck pond. I called their names and searched the bushes, but the park lights were dim and the shadows stretched long. They're small and quick, one white with a black ear and the other brown with a tiny orange spot on its back, and my heart aches thinking of them out there in the cold. If you happened to see two little rabbits hopping along the path by the pond, I’d be grateful for any clue that could bring them home.
FOUND: Breeds in Lawton, Oklahoma
I found someone else's item—a tote labeled 'Breeds'—on a bench behind the Lawton Public Library around 2:15 p.m. last Friday. The tote held dog-breed catalogs and a binder with handwritten notes about breed standards. It looked like something a local breeder or rescue group would carry, and I didn’t touch anything beyond moving it to a safer spot so it wouldn’t get knocked over. I’m posting here to help the owner recognize this item and reclaim it through the site.
Beige leopard gecko with orange speckles
I lost my beige leopard gecko, Pico, yesterday around 3pm. It’s about 4 inches long, with a sandy beige body and tiny orange speckles along the back, plus a darker stripe down the spine. There’s a small white scar on its left hind leg and a slightly thicker tail tip from a past molt—easy to spot if someone finds it. He escaped his terrarium on the shelf by the kitchen window in my Lawton apartment near the Walmart on Cache Road. I’ve had Pico since last year; he’s become part of the family, and I’m really worried about him, so please get in touch if you’ve seen him.
Calico cat with blue collar, lost in Lawton
I lost my calico cat Mochi yesterday around 7pm near the Lawton Public Library on SW 4th Street. Mochi is a medium-sized female cat, tri-color with orange, black, and white fur, about 9 pounds, and she wears a blue collar with a tiny silver bell. She has a small notch on her left ear and a white heart-shaped patch on her chest, plus green eyes that glitter in the dark. I last saw her outside the library steps, but she sometimes ducks into back porches or under cars when it's noisy. She’s more than just a pet—she helped my daughter with anxiety and has sentimental value to us. If anyone finds her, please get in touch; I really need her back.
