Lost Paintings near KU Campanile, Lawrence

On Saturday at 3:10 PM, I realized my set of four small paintings vanished from my tote while I was walking along Massachusetts Street toward the Campanile on the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence. I had paused to sketch the sunset by the Kansas River earlier in the afternoon, and I must have left them on a bench outside the Campanile steps. The paintings are framed in pale pine, two show prairie grasses, one a river scene, and the fourth a hillside town. They’re priceless to me, and I’m hoping someone who found them will bring them back to the campus information desk.

Lost travel adapters near KU campus

At 7:50 this morning, after a quick coffee on Mass Street, I realized my travel adapters were missing from my backpack. I had them earlier in my Lawrence apartment near the KU campus, and I dreaded the thought of being without power adapters on my trip later this week. I checked my dorm room and the sidewalk along Mass Street, but they’re nowhere to be found. Red plaid knit scarf with snowflake patch

I lost my red plaid knit scarf yesterday around 3pm near the Lawrence Public Library on Vermont Street. It's a thick scarf, about 60 inches long, red and cream plaid, with a small snowflake-shaped white thread patch near the hem and a frayed tassel at the end. It was a Christmas gift from my grandmother and has a lot of sentimental value; I wear it on chilly days. If anyone found it, I’d really appreciate hearing from you—it might be lying on the brick sidewalk by the library or around Mass Street between 9th and 11th. It’s in good condition aside from a tiny snag near the hem from catching on a fence.

Blue Penguin Classics hardcover of 'To Kill a Mockingbird'

I lost my blue Penguin Classics hardcover of 'To Kill a Mockingbird' yesterday around 3pm near the Lawrence Public Library on Vermont Street. It's a 6x9 inch edition with a blue cloth cover and white lettering, the spine is a bit creased and the pages are lightly yellowed from wear. There’s a coffee ring on the back and a small sticker inside the front cover with my handwriting on it. It was a gift from my grandmother and holds real sentimental value, so I’d be incredibly grateful to get it back.

Missing person: 5'9" male in red KU hoodie

I lost my younger brother, Omar Patel, in Lawrence yesterday around 3pm. He's about 5'9", slender, brown skin, short black hair, and was wearing a red KU hoodie with dark jeans and white sneakers. He has a small crescent tattoo on the inside of his left forearm and wears a silver compass pendant necklace. He was last seen near Free State Brewing Co. on Massachusetts Street, heading toward the KU campus at Jayhawk Boulevard. Navy Herschel backpack with orange phoenix sticker

I lost my navy Herschel backpack yesterday around 3pm near the Lawrence Public Library on Vermont Street, just off 7th. It's a mid-sized bag, about 14 inches tall, with a red zipper pouch in the front pocket. Inside I had a spiral notebook and a USB-C cable sticking out of the side pocket. The two identifying marks I hope help: a bright orange phoenix sticker on the inside flap and a small dent on the top handle from an earlier drop. This backpack is sentimental to me—it's a gift from my grandmother—and I really need it back.
