  1. Identify the operator. Note the route, line, or company and the rough time. Each operator runs its own lost property process.
  2. Submit a lost property report. Use the operator's online form or phone line as soon as possible; recovered items are logged against your description.
  3. For taxis and rideshare, contact the driver or company directly through your booking or app receipt.
  4. Keep your reference. Save any report number so you can chase it up.
  5. Post a listing. Add a listing for Lawrence in case a fellow passenger picked it up.

Lost train in Lawrence, KS

I can't believe I lost my train. Last Friday at 6:15 p.m., I was leaving the Lawrence Public Library on Vermont Street when I realized my small blue model train from a childhood set was missing from my tote. It's a tiny plastic locomotive with a red funnel and a couple of stickers that stood out in its little metal color. This train is everything to my son and me; we've spent years building a big model railway, and that one piece was a gift. I searched the library steps and the nearby benches but didn't find it. If someone has found it, please know it's dearly missed and I hope it turns up here on the site.

Lost Rabbits in Lawrence, Kansas

I was tidying up the apartment on Massachusetts Street around 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday when I realized my two rabbits, Niko and Willow, had vanished from their enclosure. I retraced my steps toward the KU Campanile and along Mass Street, calling out their names every few minutes. The thought of them out in the chilly Lawrence air makes me anxious, since they're curious and quick and could slip away easily. If anyone has seen them wandering around the area, I’d appreciate any help in getting them back home.

Lost carry-ons near Granada Theater

I lost my carry-ons around 7:28 pm on Friday, after a quick stop near the Granada Theater on Massachusetts Street in downtown Lawrence. The bags are a pair of wheeled suitcases, one black, one gray, both scuffed from travel, with a dented zipper on the blue carry-on. Inside is a mix of clothing and a small electronics charger—the things I needed for a short trip and a reminder of home. Please help me get them back; this time the thought of losing them here hurts more than I expected.

Lost sheet music after rehearsal at KU

I was packing up after a rehearsal at the Lied Center on Friday around 6:15 pm when my sheet music slipped from my bag and vanished near the north entrance. It’s a small blue binder, covered in pencil markings and notes from the upcoming student recital. I can picture the pages fluttering toward the stairwell by the KU Memorial Union as the doors swung shut. This music means a lot to me, and the pieces aren’t easily replaceable. If found, I’ll be overjoyed.

Lost drones near Mass St, downtown Lawrence

I was filming a quick clip along Massachusetts Street near the Granada Theater when a gust knocked my two drones from my bag. It was around 6:40 PM last Friday, and they drifted toward the river before I could reach them. One drone has a red propeller guard; the other has a gray body with a cracked camera cover. Losing them hit hard because they’re essential for work and hobby shots. I’m hoping someone nearby picked them up and will reach out through the site if they were found.

Lost saxophones near Mass St, Lawrence.

On Tuesday at 8:15 PM, I was loading my saxophones back into the trunk outside the Granada Theater on Mass Street in Lawrence, Kansas, after rehearsal. I lost my saxophones when I shut the trunk. The streetlights glowed on the brick storefronts, and the case felt lighter. They are two alto saxes, one with a dented bell and a blue strap; they are my livelihood and my passion. I walked the blocks toward the KU campus, checking doorways and the alley behind Liberty Hall, hoping they had not vanished for good. If someone turned them in, I would be grateful to have them back.
