FOUND scarf in Lansing near the Capitol

On Saturday at 5:20 p.m., I found a scarf lying on a bench near the Lansing City Market in Old Town Lansing. It's a charcoal-gray knit with a soft fringe, and it carries a faint cinnamon scent from a nearby bakery. No tag was visible, just the warm promise it clearly offers on a chilly evening. The street was busy, but there was no sign of someone looking for it, so I picked it up and kept it safe. I can’t imagine anyone wandering the block without it in the wind.
