I was at Lake Mirror Park around 6:15 p.m. last Friday when a gust tugged at my backpack and my two keyboards slipped away from the bag. One is an 88-key weighted keyboard with a red corner sticker; the other is a compact 61-key controller I use for practice. The bag is blue denim with a frayed strap and a small dolphin sticker on the zipper. I retraced the promenade by the fountain, past the benches along the lake, hoping they hadn’t rolled too far. I’ve got gigs to prep for and the thought of them out there makes my stomach drop. If you’ve seen them around Lake Mirror or on the paved trail by the water, please keep an eye out.
