I found this sheet music on the ground outside the Lakeland Public Library, near Hollis Garden, around 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. It’s a worn, blue-bound page with a few creases and a name scribbled on the cover I barely recognized. I paused for a moment, imagining the musician who must be looking for it, and I tucked it into my bag for safekeeping until I could post it here. If the owner recognizes their tunes, I hope they’ll know it’s still out there, waiting to be played again.
