Lost DVDs near Acadiana Center for the Arts, Lafayette
I realized around 7:20 PM on Saturday that my DVDs were missing after I stopped for a quick coffee on Jefferson Street, near the Acadiana Center for the Arts. I must have left the tote in the car or on a chair in a cafe across from the Lafayette Market. The set includes six classic crime films with blue-tinted spines. It hurts to misplace them because they’re a reminder of movie nights with a friend; I’d be grateful if someone found them and handed them in to the desk.
Lost photographs in Lafayette, Louisiana
I lost my photographs after a family dinner in the Cajundome parking lot around 7:30 p.m. on Friday. They are a small stack: a black-and-white portrait of my grandmother from the 1950s, plus a few color prints from a road trip to New Orleans last year. I had left them on a bench near the main entrance on Johnston Street after the show, and I must have walked away too soon. These pictures mean the world to me; they are the only keepsakes I have left of some people I have lost, and I am hoping they will turn up.
