Lost: Holiday Decorations in West Lafayette

Lost: Holiday decorations after decorating my West Lafayette apartment on Northwestern Avenue, just off Purdue’s campus. I finished at around 9:15 p.m. Monday, set a box with garlands, a wreath with red berries, a string of multicolor lights, and a glittery snowflake on a chair in the hallway, then went to grab a tote from the closet. When I turned back, they were gone. Those decorations carry memories for the holidays and I’m hopeful they’ll resurface soon, as they’re part of our family traditions.

Lost chargers near Purdue Memorial Mall, West Lafayette.

I was on the Purdue campus in West Lafayette last Friday around 3:15 p.m., sitting on a bench near the clock tower by the Purdue Memorial Mall, jotting notes for class. My two compact chargers, one with a white label, slipped from my backpack into the grass while I stood up to stretch. I retraced along the paths past the Engineering Fountain and the south edge of Memorial Mall, but I couldn’t find them. The afternoon light was soft and a little chilly, and it felt frustrating to be without portable power when I needed it most. If found, I’d be grateful to have them back.

LOST USB Drives near Purdue Memorial Union

LOST I left my USB drives on a bench near Purdue Memorial Union around 3:15 pm today, on the Purdue campus. The drives are in a black protective case; one has a blue label with my course code, the other is plain with a cracked corner. I paused by the Engineering Fountain and then hurried to class, but the bench was empty when I returned. These files include recent class notes and a term project, and I’m anxious about losing them.

Pearl 5-piece drum set, black satin

I lost my Pearl 5-piece drum set yesterday around 3pm. It's a black satin Pearl Export kit with chrome hardware, 22" kick, 10/12/16 toms, and a 14" snare. There are a few tiny scratches on the kick and a small dent on the rim, but otherwise it's in good playing shape. I had left it outside the Purdue Memorial Union on the West Lafayette campus, near the Third Street bus stop after a quick walk back to my car. On the bass drum is a blue panda sticker and a red star sticker on the snare—easy to spot. This set was a gift from my mom and it really matters to me; I’m really hoping to get it back.

Red-eared slider turtle, 4 inches, shell nick

I lost my red-eared slider turtle yesterday afternoon around 3pm near the Purdue Memorial Union on University Street in West Lafayette. It’s about 4 inches from head to tail, olive-green shell with the distinctive red stripe behind its eyes. There’s a small nick on the left edge of the carapace and a faint yellow line running down the center of the plastron. It means a lot to me—it’s been part of our family for years and it carries sentimental value. If anyone finds it, please reach out; I really need to get it back.
