Lost Holiday Decorations in Kirksville
Last Friday at 8:45 p.m. I realized my Holiday Decorations were missing from the hallway by my apartment near Truman State University after we wrapped up a family gathering. I’d been taking them down and packing them away near the Rotary Park gazebo on North Baltimore Street when they vanished. The collection includes a string of warm-white lights and a red-and-green garland, both tied to this year’s memories. This means a lot to me, especially during the holidays, and I’m hoping they turn up so I can carry the cheer back into our home.

I found a small blue enamel compact mirror with a star pattern this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind Walmart on North Baltimore Street in Kirksville. The case shows a tiny dent on the lower edge and a faint scratch across the lid, but the mirror still shines clearly. Inside, there’s a pressed dried flower tucked under the lid and a tiny sticker of a star on the inner rim.
