LOST flutes in Kalamazoo, MI
Last Tuesday at 6:15 p.m., I lost my two silver flutes after a rehearsal at the WMU School of Music. I must have left them on a bench near Bronson Park while I packed up. They mean a lot to me: one belonged to my grandmother, and the other is a newer instrument I saved for college. I found a small black 25-key MIDI controller this morning around 10:15am near the bus stop by Bronson Park on West Michigan Ave, downtown Kalamazoo. It’s a Novation Launchkey Mini with blue backlit pads, a slightly worn white label along the top edge, and a USB-C port. The case has a few cosmetic scratches from travel, but the keys and pads respond well. If the owner recognizes the distinctive blue pads or the Launchkey logo, I’d be glad to meet somewhere convenient in downtown Kalamazoo to hand it back.
