Found: Dolls near Riverside Park, Jacksonville
I found a pair of dolls on the bench by the fountain near Riverside Park around 6:15 p.m. on Saturday. One has curly blonde hair and a pink dress; the other is a blue-eyed boy in denim overalls. They looked a bit dusty, and I gently brushed off a few leaves before leaving them on the bench where someone might pass by again. I can imagine a child wandering the Riverwalk, maybe feeling upset after losing them, and it warmed me to think they might be reunited with their owner soon.
Lost sports gear near Riverwalk
I am missing my equipment for various sports. Around 7:15 PM Friday, I must have left my bag somewhere along the Jacksonville Riverwalk near Friendship Fountain. The bag is a black duffel with a red stripe, and inside are a basketball, a pair of cleats, and a tennis racket with a worn grip. Those items are essential to my weekend routine, and my heart sinks thinking they are out there somewhere. If someone picked them up, I’d be incredibly grateful to have them back, and I’m hoping for a safe return so I can get back to practice.
